Over the next few days, we’re going to catch up with the characters of Full House and see where they ended up. Have a different version of events? Leave it in the comments! First, we begin with the middle child of the Tanner clan: Miss Stephanie Judith Tanner.
Stephanie Tanner: Where is She Now?
From the moment that Stephanie Judith Tanner put on a bedazzled baseball cap and performed to “Motown Philly”, she knew what her destiny would be: she would be a dancer. However, as she progressed through middle and high school, her dancing took a backseat to starting crappy Ace of Base cover bands, hanging out at the Smash Club and avoiding much-needed orthodontia. Then, at a graduation party, Stephanie got drunk with her BFF Gia (who was 30 years old at the time) and recreated Julia Stiles’s table dance from 10 Things I Hate About You. Her love of dance was ignited again.
When Stephanie informed her father that she wanted to skip college and try her luck in Hollywood, Danny told her he wouldn’t financially support her decision, especially because she wasn’t that good. Stephanie stormed out and headed to Los Angeles.
Once there, life was rough. No one was impressed with her running man or her Roger Rabbit. Broke and desperate, Stephanie ran into her old friend Harry Takayama at Carl’s Jr., and he offered her a job at his strip club The Rising Buns. Stephanie soon became its third most popular performer.
Drug addiction soon followed and Stephanie soon found herself on a downward spiral. Stephanie hit rock bottom the day she pawned her prized possession, Mr. Bear, to pay for some crack. Luckily, an old friend, Walter “Duckface” Berman, now a Hollywood plastic surgeon, instantly recognized Mr. Bear and bought him. He tracked down Stephanie, helped her get clean, and proposed six months later. The family was reunited at the wedding. Kimmy Gibler showed up, despite not having RSVPed to which Stephanie commented, “How rude!”
Mr. and Mrs. Duckface are expecting their first child. She plans on auditioning for So You Think You Can Dance after the baby comes.
